Francois Monkey Enrichment (Feeder Mop)
A cotton mop head was strung with fruit loops and hung on a bungee cord in the exhibit. The alpha male, Hark Dow controlled which members would be allowed to forage for the treats. He allowed the youngest member, Ikaika and her mother ChiChi to share the mop with him.
Other members of the group had their turn when Hark Dow took a break from grooming the mop. Only one monkey, TyTy, missed out on the treats. By the time he was allowed to groom it, the fruit loops were all gone.
